CT Abdomen/Pelvis

IMPRESSION:
1. Redemonstration of large bilateral inguinal hernias containing a
large amount of ascitic fluid that does not appear significantly
changed in volume.
2. Cirrhotic shrunken and nodular appearing liver with associated
stigmata of portal hypertension.
3. Nearly occlusive portal vein thrombosis and superior mesenteric
vein thrombosis as above with associated cavernous transformation
indicating chronicity.
4. Interval development of multiple fluid-filled dilated distal
jejunal and proximal ileal small bowel loops that may be secondary to
large volume ascites or superior mesenteric vein occlusion.
5. Worsening large right-sided pleural effusion.
